Whether lowering our tax burden, spearheading beautification and transportation projects or fighting for our environment, Elaine has been a tireless fighter for all of us in Albany.

Cutting Taxes

As Senator, Elaine has been fighting to make Long Island more affordable for families and seniors. In her first term, she rejected $1 billion in new taxes proposed by the Governor and approved Nassau County STAR rebate checks. If re-elected, she will continue her fight to lower taxes and move New York’s economy forward.

Controlling Spending

As your Senator, Elaine fought for fiscal responsibility in the state and saved New Yorkers $52 billion or $8,387 per taxpayer by continuing the State Spending Cap.

Improving Education

Senator Phillips is a champion for Long Island Schools. Elaine held down property taxes and has fought to keep our schools among the best in the nation.
